As a co-founder of Hyssop Freedom Ministries, I am passionate about guiding individuals and couples into true freedom, healing, and victory through Christ-centered biblical discipleship. Together with my wife Sara (married since 2018), we provide Holy Spirit-led support that goes far beyond traditional counseling, addressing root spiritual issues, renewing the mind with God’s Word, and walking in the abundant life Jesus promised (John 10:10).
We both hold Masters degrees in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. After personal journeys through therapy (as clients and students of psychology) and nearing completion of secular therapy paths, the Lord clearly redirected us. He showed us that His ways are far better. We stepped away from licensing boards to fully obey Scripture and allow the Holy Spirit to lead every session without compromise. We will not submit to any board or license above the Lord.
At Hyssop Freedom Ministries, we minister together as a couple in every session. This provides balanced, authentic perspectives from both a husband’s and wife’s viewpoint, modeling healthy Christian marriage while fostering real-time healing, forgiveness, and oneness (Ephesians 5:25, Proverbs 27:17).
Our approach honors insights from psychology but submits everything to the infallible Word of God. We combine practical, Scripture-based tools (identity declarations, forgiveness exercises, Spirit-led prayer strategies, etc.) with deliverance, inner healing, and mind renewal for lasting transformation—not just symptom management or coping skills.
We are living testimonies of God’s radical redemption—having walked through addictions, depression, anxiety, and trauma ourselves, only to be pulled from the depths by Jesus. Now we help others experience the same refining fire that purifies like silver (Zechariah 13:9) and sets captives free.
